Using Your Out of Network Insurance Benefits with Counseling at The Green House

Counseling at The Green House is currently a private-pay, out-of-network provider. We do not accept insurance because we do not believe it is the best client care. This allows you to direct your own treatment, protect your own information, and allows our team more time to be spent in direct interaction with clients, rather than billing and answering to insurance companies.
One way we try to keep therapy accessible is through a sliding-scale based on annual household income which can apply to the majority of services. We also accept HSA payments.
Some people may opt to utilize their insurance plan's out-of-network benefits, which means that they will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. We can provide the superbills* to assist you in making that request (please note that insurance companies will require a diagnosis code that goes on your permanent medical record). You can work with your insurance company directly or you can use Thrizer to verify your out-of-network benefits and submit superbills. They will manage the reimbursement process for you to save you the insurance headache. Once you meet your deductible, you receive reimbursements in a few weeks via direct deposit. You can create an account and get started at www.thrizer.com.
How it works:
Create an account at www.thrizer.com and verify your out-of-network benefits
Upload the superbills that we provide you* onto Thrizer
After meeting your deductible, you will receive reimbursements directly to your bank account in a few weeks
*you can request superbills from your counselor or from our office manager Tess Woods (scheduling@greenhouseindy.com) who will be the one to send them to you
Feel free to learn more and follow along on this interactive demo as you get set up. Please also take a look at their pricing under the "Superbill Uploads" section.
We hope that highlighting this service will streamline the reimbursement process for those that wish to use insurance benefits and allow you to receive the specialist counseling services that you need.
