Certified Imago Relationship Therapist
My primary areas of expertise include Brainspotting, adoption & foster care, developmental trauma, and healthy relationships. I am Certified in Brainspotting and Imago Relationship Therapy, trained in TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Interventions) and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), experienced with Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), a facilitator for Prepare/Enrich and Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP). I also consider myself trauma-based, IFS-informed, Polyvagal-informed, Daring Way informed, and influenced by existentialism and psychodynamic theories. I am licensed in the states of Indiana and Massachusetts.
My clients are often physicians, scientists, clergy, executives, business owners, immigrants, professional athletes, adult adoptees, and foster and adoptive parents seeking support and doing their own work. I often work with intercultural and interracial couples seeking a more conscious, connected relationship. I always enjoy working with readers, thinkers, questioners, and list-makers – whose who are intentional about their therapeutic journey. I completed my Master of Arts in Counseling degree at Ball State University in 2005; however, both therapeutically and personally, I am committed to never stop learning and growing. I am regularly reading half a dozen non-fiction books at a time, many due directly to a client need.
