Life is full of adjustments. Some are small enough to miss, while others feel like trying to grow gills and live underwater. My passion is helping clients through transition. I specialize in the area of intercultural transitions and cross-cultural relationships. Having lived and worked internationally, and in an intercultural marriage, I understand how those transitions can make or break the person you want to be. In addition to adults and couples in transition, I also enjoy using elements of Play Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with children in transitions.

Counseling is about meeting you where you are, discovering where you want to go, and
creating your path to get there. As a therapist, I know that that process is wildly different for everyone. So, while I am trained in many models of therapy, I follow a present-focused, client driven approach to sessions. I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate working under supervision toward full licensure. In addition, I hold a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. I hold additional certifications in Gottman Step 1 and Step 2, as well as training in Trauma Focused CBT for kids and Behavioral Therapy.
