Art Extravaganza: March First Friday Gallery Opening

Beth Walsh and Tom Woods are both Indiana natives and continue to live and work here. Each has an expressive style that exemplifies a reflection of the world around them. Colors of all kinds and surreal interpretations of objects are typified in these works.  Beth has a great sense of composition and balance of color, often displaying a wonderful sense of dichotomy.  Tom's work is often striving to display intuitive vision of the self through primitive designs and surreal ideas. 

Both from the same region of Indiana and having attended many of the same social institutions several years apart, these two find many common views of their hometown. Discovering that they were neighbors, a fortuitous friendship formed, both being creative individuals. Many ideas and synergistic notions have been revealed through this friendship. These works here today reflect much of this artistic connectivity as well as show the individual power of creativity.
